What's on the menu?
Lunches in the kitchen garden (or 'Potting Shed' depending on the weather) will vary according to season. We try to source as much from the kitchen garden itself as possible. We grow all our own vegetables and salad crops and as many culinary herbs as we have space for. We produce our own free-range pork - sausages, bacon, and hams- and our own free-range hens for fresh eggs.
So a typical lunch might be homemade quiches, green salads, tomato and basil salad, warm new potato salad with fresh chives and mint, cucumber and dill or grilled courgette salad, our own sausages or smoked hams. Normally a cheeseboard and fruit to follow.
Simple, fresh, local and delicious is what we aim for. You get the picture…we have not had any disappointed visitors yet!
And if you have particular culinary preferences just let us know in advance.
We always offer cakes (from our local bakery) and fresh coffee and tea. You can buy wine by the glass, carafe or bottle.
Please call for further information 01638 721 416.
